Kimberly lives in Illinois, I used to live in Northcentral Pennsylvania. In November 2009, My father and I decided to relocate. We decided on Western PA and in the end found ourselves moving all the way to Lancaster, CA, reuniting with my two older brothers. At first, I thought this would tear us apart with the distance being so much more. Luckily enough, when we reunited online, Kimberly informed me she had for some time thought about visiting a friend who lives in Los Angeles, CA. Not all that far from where we landed, so things were coming together.
Then on New Years my one older brother became homeless. In an effort to help us all (my father and I were living in an expensive motel), my father and I became homeless as well. Yet another hiccup in Kimberly and I meeting I thought. How could someone still want to be with someone who moved so far away and is now homeless and jobless? Yet through all the trials Kimberly has been sticking right by my side. I now own a cellphone (something I said to myself I would never get) and we talk or text nearly everyday. My brother, prior to us all becoming homeless, purchased us both laptops and we have discovered a few local businesses who offer WIFI. So we have a few places to "camp out" in and use the Internet, another way Kimberly and I are able to communicate.
